This enables us to transfer the technical benefits of Schaefer reusable kegs to our new One Use KEG. It looks very similar to a reusable keg and has almost identical handling features with regard to filling, transport and dispensing.

The container liner and shell of the One Use KEG consist of thin-walled (0.4 mm, .01 in), hot-dip
aluminised steel sheet. Inside this is a liner bag of multi-layer foil that is filled and emptied via
a one-way plastic fitting (POM and PE). The One Use KEG is designed for an operating
over pressure of 3 bar, and for burst protection it has a safety burst point. Due to their
strength, the KEGs can be stacked six at time (full) or 10 at a time (empty) and transported
using all conventional means. Other fitting systems will be available soon.
